IAN EMSLIE - OPTOMETRIST

Ian is the owner and optometrist practice principal, graduating with an Optometry degree from the University of NSW with honours. He has extensive knowledge in the detection of eye related diseases, diabetic retinopathy and contact lens fitting. Ian is friendly, approachable, and thorough and is happy to discuss your optical needs and eye health. He has been working in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie for over 35 years.

Ian worked for John F Miner for many years, gaining valuable industry knowledge. Opening his first full-scope optometry practice in Warners Bay in 1998, Ian has continued to build on his knowledge. He regularly attends conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry advancements.



He is married with two daughters and lives in Warners Bay.
